Anja’s book Classical Schooling with the Horse In Mind is a great read. I really love her attitude towards horses. It also has commentary from Gerd Heuschmann. I haven’t watched this DVD, but it is on my list. Maybe I’ll bump it up.

Nope, no pig! The gentleman in this video is named Manuel Jorge de Oliveira. So, perhaps this is a different Oliveria? Have you ever seen Richard Heinrich’s video, Schooling Horses in Hand? I got a kick out of seeing the goat doing Spanish Walk.

I think I will try to watch this – it sounds very good. I take it Jorge Oliveira’s pot bellied pig wasn’t in it. I have another video of Jorge when he is riding in a menage while a pot-bellied pig is trying to get his Lusitano stallion to play, rooting in the arena corners, running around in circles (why I don’t know – I guess the pig lived in the stable) and the pig steals the show.
